I went to this establishment on 5-11-22. The woman at the front desk was very rude. I explained my dental concern and she said ( in a very unsympathetic tone); well it will be $150 for an exam we can’t guarantee we’ll do anything beyond that but he’ll look at it. ?? So my reason for seeking treatment may not even be addressed but they’ll be sure to collect $150 for an “exam” …without the treatment. Unbelievable. The rudeness of their staff member lead me to another dental office (less than a mile away) who’s exam was $61, where I received the needed treatment by staff that was friendly and caring.
My husband woke up on Saturday in excruciating pain - lots of swelling. Makes an emergency appointment and had to be there within 30 minutes. Dentist tells him he has an infection, and needs antibiotics. He was supposed to have called an antibiotic in and NEVER DID!!! He paid $150 for literally NOTHING. When he went to get his prescription nothing had been called in, he called the office and got the answering service who said she would send a message to the office about it - they were not closed yet but we never heard anything back!! They are closed until Tuesday, so he's had to spend MORE MONEY to go somewhere else to get medication to stop this infection! Super unprofessional and DANGEROUS!
Trying to charge me for work that I haven't had done. You pay as you get work done and those smart mouth Spanish receptionist you don't have to worry about me no more. And I did call my insurance to let them know what going on. You was a 5 star in my book at first now you a 1 star and if would have let me post a no star this company would have gotten it.
Excellent dentist and dental team!! Clean office and nice receptionist! I had 17 teeth extracted and felt 0 pain. As scared as I was i can now say that I worked myself up over nothing. Waiting on bottom partial and top denture now and anxious for my end result highly recommend this location five stars giving!!!
Recently visited the north chesterfield location, everyone was polite & professional. Safety guidelines were followed and although I didn’t get any work done that day, I left the office feeling confident about the care I needed
Very unprofessional! I will not be scheduling another appointment here again. I came to my last appointment (in July)and got out of the car they asked me to not get out until they called me. I came to my appointment today (Sept 29) with the same COVID restrictions. As an FYI I have braces. They required me to have my braces wire removed before they could fill my cavities which meant I had to communicate with my orthodontist and correlate an appt on the same day as theirs. (I literally had 3 appts the same day ... getting wire removed @ 9a. 2.... supposedly for filling my cavities. 3... for replacing my wire) I arrived at the dentist at 12: 03P. I did not get out of the car due to the same COVID restrictions. I watched the lady go repeatedly in and out of the door talking to various people. I received a call at 12:22 asking where was I for my appt. I told her I am outside in the parking lot. She informed me that I should have notified her by coming to the door. You asked me to not get out my car the first time. Then she asked to reschedule as if I have not made appts with 2 different dentist. This was your mistake. Very unprofessional never again.
I went to the same Dentist for over 40 years. He retired in 2018. So I needed to find a new Dentist. I have now been to Dr. Tavassoli three times. Two six month checkups with two filing replacements in between. Everything went smoothly in all three visits.
A year ago I went here and went in for a cleaning. They didn't do a cleaning and said I had various problems and needed to pay out of pocket when I had two insurances and it was supposed to be fully covered. They said they spoke to my insurance and that I would have to pay out of pocket but when I called my insurance they said no one had called them. My insurance called them immediately and told them to refund me my money. I haven't been to them since and am super happy with my new dentist in another practice.
Office is nice and clean. Very bright! However, the Receptionists seemed annoyed and very busy with other things. Both dental assistants were patient and pretty nice all around :-). Dr Amir was cool at first when he did my exam. However, after discussing insurance (I have Aetna Medicaid) they added all these extra costs (my extractions are paid in full, fillings and cleanings always). They said I would have to pay 400 out of pocket which I never heard of. Anyway, I agreed to just get my 2 wisdom teeth extracted an come back for cleaning(it's 3:30pm) and the rep ask is it to late to do the procedure (the office is empty and closing time is 5pm). So they agreed and I was appreciative. When back in the room, The dentist came back but annoyed now. I ignored it and breathed hard because I seen the needle I am always so scared of. He said with an annoyance Tone "we don't have to do this. You wanted us to do this..." I was so confused and asked what did I do? So I tried to just forget everything. I asked him was my wisdom teeth by my sinuses or nerve because I was told they were and I didn't hear him alert me of the risk factors. He said "Well did you sign the consent form in the front?? I'll explain after." I got up, asked for a referral an LEFT. They should of never took me after the exam if they felt it was to late. I am disappointed on the payment side and the customer service side. The office is very clean and the technology for dental photos is up to date and very cool. I was hoping to bring my daughters here as well but I won't be going back. I just moved here from NJ so I just googled this place. I left and went to another office with the referral and they did a quick exam. Everything is covered with my insurance and I have a appointment for next week.
Their main goal seem to be maximize the insurance charges and they strongly recommend unnecessary dental care. They also repeatedly told me I had not paid for uninsured cleaning I had already paid for. Caution and second opinion recommended.
I enjoyed my experience while at Smile 32 Midlothian. Under a time crunch for both a trip overseas and with insurance ending, my dental team was able to address all of my dental concerns. I'm very thankful of the work and kindnessof this office staff.Blessings!
"Best dentist ever! I have been under the care of Dr. Millan for years.Old fashioned tender loving care with all the modern technology needed for superior professionalism. The entire staff is friendly and makes you feel like family. It's where "everybody knows your name. "
Wow!! What a wonderful dentistry. Between Lindy, the staff abd Dr. T I was not only given a reasonable payment plan but also got stella service to boot. Thorough, friendly and so polite and professional. They care and I feel it every time I arrive for my appointment.😁
I been going to Smile32 since I was a teenager and still going. Now my husband and kids are been seen. Great service and the office is really nice and clean the people that works there are great 👍 love them all.
I began my Smiles32 journey with an emergency service dental appointment two months later. I proceeded to appointment smiling arriving early for a 7:45am visit. To my suprise the doors were locked an if I'm not mistaken I received correspondance before appointment date to call number before entering the building, yet, when I called I was informed at this time the doors do not open til 7:30am. Now this is my first visit to Smiles32 which makes me unfamiliar with their procedures an I let the operator lady know I was not informed of this before because with my transportation service I be on borrowed time. Yhen I waited from 7:08am til 7:55am, (had a feeling I would be late) went yo doors and they were still locked. I call the Smiles32 office Cowarfin Ave again and the lafy continues to say the door is unlocked other people got into the ofgice. After several call backs she informs me the doors are unlocked on a certain area of the building. Next, I get to appointment and stand in front of the receptionist for several minutes eventually I get to do paperwork outside in the hall instead of the very spacious lobby( no type or form of social distancing). Finaly, in the dental chair taking x-rays then Dentist arrives talks, rubs hands, and says open your mouth an I be like I did not se you wash your hands, there is a sink right behind him and he replies, I'm not going to touch you yet, he leaning towards me. Nonsense! Last, I get some referals to VCU, explanation that there is no Dentist to do extractions as of a few weeks ago along with a letter in the mail saying I intimadated the female staff but not enough for them to refuse me service and take my money. Ridiculous!!!
First visit, new patient: Dr. Milan was very kind and compassionate. The front staff was friendly and well organized, the ladies keep busy!!! The techs were efficient, and I got great care.
This is the worst dentist ever they change your appointment whenever they want to without notifying you when you have a appointment they'll cancel it at the last minute they're so unorganized it's crazy this place is a hot mess I wouldn't refer another person to go here and have dental work if my life depended on it they need to get it together they have people waiting months to have a root canal fully finished its crazy shut this place down
Went here for years and loved it, until my dentist up and left and no one told me. Upon getting a new dentist, he was very cold and didn’t communicate well or at all for that matter. After switching I found out I had 3 cavities they never found or told me about. Won’t be going back here, ever.
The Cowardin Ave location is awful. Had a 9am appointment for tooth extraction and was not seen until 1030am. Could not get extraction done due to another appointment I had on my calendar at 11am. Was told by the rude and obnoxious office mgr in the red outfit that if I don't get it done then, don't call the office later complaining about pain cause they not going to give me any pain medicine. Office staff need to be replaced. They act like it was my fault. I was there at 850am and wasn't seen until 1030am. Hmmm how is that my fault. Several people who was there expressed their dissatisfaction with them. As of now I am going through every avenue to report this location and incompetent staff and now I am wondering if they charged my insurance for an extraction that never happened. Making insurance aware of this also.
This has been a wonderful experience by far.. Dr. MILLAN is a patient, kind, perfectionist 😁. He made sure not only was he happy with my results but I was happy with my results. I was so afraid of making the transition to dentures, but he had me bring in a picture of me so that he could get my teeth as close as he could to my previous smile. When I tell you that my teeth were actually better that my actual smike. I really mean it. Thanks soooo much to the doctor and all the ladies in the office u guys rock!!!!!
I cant say any experience with the dentist just know I couldn't get pass the unprofessionalism with the receptionist. Called to make appt she states each time keeping you on false hope about cancellations that never happen, instead of making the original appt. Shes been running me around for a week. I give up with this place.
I had to have an extraction done. I was scared out of my mind of the needle. Dr. Millan was super patient and talked to me through the entire process. He regularly asked me if I was in pain. He stopped as soon as I told him and gave me more numbing meds. I was so soothed by that alone, my remaining anxiety vanished. I was actually smiling(as well as I could with a numb mouth) by the time I left. And since I couldn't talk clearly, the front desk called my ride for me.It's been years since I felt this good after a dental visit. Thank you Smile 32!
Excellent excellent experience at this dental center. Dr. Millan took such good care of me. During my extractions he made sure that I felt no pain, and when the time came for my dentures, he requested a picture of me with my natural smile. He worked on my dentures personally and did his best to restore it. My dentures came out beautifully. They are as close to the real thing as you can get. I can't thank him enough for his care, concern, and hard work. Based on the fact that he knew my medical history and why my teeth had decayed so badly, he took his time and did a fantastic job. I will never forget Dr. Millan and what he did for me. I will refer anyone that needs dental work to him and he will always be my family dentist as long as he is working. Thank you Dr. Millan!
My experience here has been nothing short of excellence! All of the staff from the dentist to the receptionist are always super friendly and helpful! They have gone above and beyond with their services! I highly recommend smile 32 for all your dental needs!
This office is very unprofessional as well as annoying. They call you 4 xs a week just to remind u about the same appointment. Which is why they went on block. Also, they have new staff there every month whom doesn't know what they are doing.
Don't usually leave reviews but must let everyone know how happy I am with Smile 32 and Dr. Millan. My dental needs were complicated and after speaking with Dr. Millan and his staff I knew I had landed at the right place. Some of the things that had to be done could have been painful but they made sure I felt nothing, thanks for that! A very patient, efficient Doctor and staff. Made you feel they had plenty of time for you and answered all my questions. Can't recommend enough! Very pleased!
I took my daughter there two days ago and I was so happy I did cause the other dentist I had her going to was trying to pull her teeth ans it wasn't anything arowr with her teste at so I'm very happy for that😁😁😁
I didn’t even make it to my appointment. I called to get directions to the location in the receptionist was very rude so much so that I would dare step foot in this location.
Finding a dentist can be quite the scavenger hunt. Almost all of those I researched had some negative feedback. This is understandable, to an extent, as almost no one looks forward to visiting the dentist. Finally, I came across Dr. Jessica Smith at Smile 32. I called and inquired about insurance acceptability, and the lady to whom I spoke was both pleasant and professional. When my wife and I arrived, we were delighted to find that everyone at this office conducts themselves in the same manner. I have taken my wife there twice, and it was truly an easy visit. Dr. Smith and her support staff are caring professionals, who genuinely want excellent results for their patients, and it shows. Thank You !!!
